In the lead-up to the Common Unity 2.0 concert and celebration, WISH-TV‘s Tim Spears interviewed exoneree Leon Benson alongside future exoneree Vernon T. Bateman. The concert, which will celebrate two years since Benson’s liberation from prison while highlighting the need to fight for those still incarcerated or in need of exoneration, takes place March 21 at The Basile Theatre at The Athenaeum.
Just outside the concert venue is the Christel DeHaan ArtSpace, where Bateman’s exhibit, “If Bullets Could Cry: Ammunition for Healing” has been on display since February 07.
